Accounting Services in Ballabgarh
Small manufacturers and traders in Ballabgarh mostly keep books for two readers: the GST portal and the bank manager. We keep them every month so both see the same correct figures, from job-work challans to the year-end balance sheet. If you want your books kept remotely, our online bookkeeping service works anywhere in India.
What it is
Accounting is the habit of writing down each sale, purchase, expense and bank movement, then summing it all into ledgers, a profit and loss statement and a balance sheet. Kept every month, those books produce your GST figures, your TDS workings and, at year end, the numbers for your income tax return.
Ballabgarh books have their own shape. A unit around Sector 59 sends material out for plating or machining and gets it back. A trader near the grain market deals in cash and credit with commission agents. A family shop often runs household and business spending through one account. We set up the ledgers to keep these apart from the first month.
Who it applies to
Companies
Section 128 of the Companies Act, 2013 requires double-entry books on the accrual basis, preserved for eight financial years, even for the smallest private company.
Proprietors and firms
Section 44AA makes books compulsory for an individual or HUF in business once income tops ₹2,50,000, or turnover tops ₹25 lakh, in any one of the last three years.
Units with bank limits
Anyone with a cash credit limit who sends monthly stock statements, or who is preparing for a loan renewal.
Two things Ballabgarh units often miss
Job-work records. Inputs sent to a job worker must come back within one year and capital goods within three; moulds, dies, jigs, fixtures and tools are outside these limits. Miss the limit and the goods count as supplied, with tax to pay. Form GST ITC-04 reports these movements: half-yearly by 25 October and 25 April if turnover is above ₹5 crore, and once a year by 25 April if it is ₹5 crore or less.
Payments to micro and small suppliers. Under Section 43B(h), an amount owed to a micro or small enterprise is deductible only when paid, if you pay later than the MSMED Act allows: 15 days without a written agreement, 45 days at most with one. A unit that buys from small local fabricators and settles at year end can lose the deduction for that year. We flag these bills every month.

Frequently asked questions
Is a small Ballabgarh trader too small for you?
No. Most of our trading clients are small family businesses with a few hundred entries a month. We work from bills and bank statements, keep cash entries clean, and reconcile purchases with GSTR-2B so input tax credit is not lost. The fee follows the volume of entries, so a small shop pays for a small job.
We send material to job workers. What records do we need?
You need a delivery challan for every dispatch, a record of what came back, and Form GST ITC-04 for the period. Inputs must return within one year and capital goods within three years, or they are treated as supplied. We keep a running register of goods at each job worker so nothing crosses the limit unnoticed.
What is the 45-day rule for MSME payments?
Under Section 43B(h), a payment due to a micro or small enterprise is deductible only in the year it is paid, if it is paid after the MSMED Act limit. The limit is 15 days without a written agreement and 45 days at most with one. We flag such bills monthly so you can pay in time and keep the deduction.
Our accounts haven’t been touched since last March. Where do we start?
With the bank statement, since banks do not forget entries. Sales come back from your filed GSTR-1 and e-way bills, purchases from GSTR-2B, and job-work movements from challans. We usually bring the old year up to date first, file anything pending, and then move you to a simple monthly routine so it never piles up again.
Which software do you use?
Tally, Zoho Books or Busy, whichever you already own; if you have nothing, we can begin on a spreadsheet and move you over. For companies, the software has to keep an edit log (audit trail), compulsory since 1 April 2023. If your billing clerk already uses Tally at the unit, we can work on a data copy and leave daily billing undisturbed.
Do proprietors in Ballabgarh have to keep books?
Yes, once business income crossed ₹2,50,000 or turnover crossed ₹25 lakh in any of the last three years, Section 44AA applies. If you declare profit on the presumptive basis under Section 44AD, the duty is lighter. Even then, simple books make GST returns, bank renewals and notice replies far easier, so we keep them as light as the law allows.
Can you prepare stock statements for our bank?
Yes, we prepare the monthly stock and debtors statement from the same books we keep, in the format your bank uses for the cash credit limit. Because the figures come from reconciled ledgers, they match the balance sheet at year end. That consistency matters when the bank reviews the limit at renewal.
Will someone have to come to your office each month?
No, most clients send bills on WhatsApp or a shared folder and meet us only when needed. Some prefer to have a munim drop the file at our office at B-363-365, Second Floor, BK Chowk, Faridabad, Haryana 121001, a short drive from Ballabgarh. We are open 24 hours, so the file can come in after the shift ends.
What it costs
Our fee plus the government fee that applies to your case, quoted before you commit. Tell us the situation and we will price it exactly.
No government fee applies to bookkeeping. Our monthly charge turns on the volume of entries, the number of GSTINs and your headcount; one sample month is enough for us to fix it.
Ready to begin?
Send us one month of bills, bank statements and job-work challans, and you will get back a sample of reconciled books and a fixed monthly quote.
