What it is

Accounting services cover the recording of every sale, purchase, expense and bank entry, and turning them into a profit and loss account and balance sheet you can rely on. Done monthly, it also gives you the figures for GST returns, TDS payments and investor updates.

Companies must keep books under Section 128 of the Companies Act, 2013, and businesses above the income-tax limits must maintain accounts too. We work on your cloud accounting software or ours, and close each month with a short report. The full scope is on our online book keeping page.

Who it applies to

Funded and bootstrapped startups

Teams in Cyber City, Sector 44 or a Sohna Road coworking centre that need clean monthly numbers for investors, without hiring an in-house accountant yet.

Consultancies and agencies

Service firms billing large corporates, where every invoice has TDS deducted and GST credit must match the client’s filings.

Traders and small manufacturers

Businesses in Udyog Vihar and IMT Manesar with stock, e-way bills and vendor payments to track every week.

Why it matters

GST credit you can defend

We match your credit against what suppliers report. Mismatches surface in our review, not in a notice.

Board and investor reporting

A monthly MIS with burn, runway and receivables is what Gurugram investors ask for at every review.

A quick, clean audit

Reconciled books shorten the statutory audit and keep ROC and tax-audit deadlines safe.

Your compliance calendar in Haryana

Your books feed a fixed set of filings, and in Gurugram a few points differ from other states. Haryana does not levy professional tax, so salaries carry no PT deduction. Companies file with the ROC Haryana at Chandigarh, which took over Haryana from 16 February 2026. Haryana is in the group whose quarterly GSTR-3B falls on the 24th.

How it works

1

Pick up your opening books

We pick up from your last trial balance and fix any open reconciliation before the first month closes.

2

Record entries every week

You upload bills to a shared folder or the software; we post them and flag anything missing.

3

Close the month and compute taxes

Bank reconciliation, GST working, TDS liability and payroll entries are finished before the due dates.

4

Send the MIS and walk you through it

A short report on profit, cash and receivables, with a call to go through questions.

Timelines

Monthly close

Books closed early enough for GSTR-3B on the 20th, or the 24th after the quarter under QRMP.

Tax audit

Business turnover above ₹1 crore (₹10 crore if cash receipts and payments are each within 5%) needs a Section 44AB audit.

Year end

Accounts finalised for the statutory audit, then AOC-4 within 30 days and MGT-7 within 60 days of the AGM.

What happens if the books fall behind

ROC late fees

AOC-4 and MGT-7 carry an additional fee of ₹100 a day each, for every day of delay.

Tax audit penalty

Missing a required audit costs 0.5% of turnover or ₹1,50,000, whichever is lower, under Section 271B.

GST interest and notices

Late returns attract interest and late fees, and unmatched credit is the commonest trigger for a GST notice.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have staff in Gurugram for accounting work?

No, our team works from our Faridabad office, and Gurugram clients are served online. You upload bills and statements, we post them in your accounting software, and we meet on video for the monthly review. If you want to sit with us, come to B-363-365, Second Floor, BK Chowk, Faridabad, Haryana 121001. Our phone, +91 93117 95484, is answered 24 hours.

Do Gurugram companies need to deduct professional tax from salaries?

No. Haryana does not levy professional tax, so salaries paid to staff working in Gurugram carry no PT deduction. Here is the catch: PT depends on where the employee works, not where the company is registered. If you have staff in a state that levies it, such as Maharashtra or Karnataka, that state’s PT applies to them, and we set it up in payroll.

Which accounting software do you work on?

We work on the software you already use, whether a cloud tool or a desktop package, and set one up if you have none. Cloud software suits Gurugram teams, because founders, the bank and we can all see the same live numbers. The software matters less than habit: bills uploaded weekly and a fixed monthly close.

Can our statutory auditor also keep our books?

No. Section 144 of the Companies Act bars a company’s auditor from providing accounting and bookkeeping services to it, along with internal audit and several other services. So the firm that keeps your books must be different from the firm that audits them. We can do either for you, and we will tell you plainly which role we are taking.

When does a Gurugram business need a tax audit?

For FY 2025-26, a business needs a Section 44AB audit when turnover exceeds ₹1 crore, or ₹10 crore if cash receipts and cash payments are each within 5% of the totals. Professionals need one above ₹50 lakh of gross receipts. The report for FY 2025-26 is due 21 October 2026 after the CBDT extension. Monthly books make this audit routine.

Our books are a year behind. Can you catch up?

Yes. Picture a Gurugram startup whose founder kept bills in email for a year and now has an investor asking for audited numbers. We start from the last closed trial balance or the bank statements and rebuild the year month by month. Missed GST and TDS filings are fixed along the way, with the interest and late fees computed upfront. After the first week we tell you the timeline and the gaps.

Do new Gurugram businesses need a shops registration?

It depends on headcount. Under the Haryana Shops and Commercial Establishments Act as amended from 12 November 2025, establishments with 20 or more workers apply for registration online within one month of starting. Those with fewer than 20 file an online intimation within one month instead. We cover this at onboarding.

What will the monthly MIS show?

It shows profit and loss against budget, cash in bank, monthly burn and runway, receivables and payables by age, and GST and TDS paid. For funded Gurugram startups we add the metrics your investors ask for. We keep it to a page or two, so founders read it before the review call.

Bookkeeping itself carries no government fee. Late fees apply only on missed filings: ₹100 a day on AOC-4 and MGT-7.
